The Rize MD is a mid-drive electric bike designed for riders who prioritize climbing torque and a more natural pedal-assist feel. Its 750W Bafang BBS02 mid-drive motor produces up to 120 N·m of torque, making the motor’s output available through the bike’s gearing rather than driving the rear wheel directly.

48V battery with optional dual-battery range

The standard 48V 15Ah / 720Wh Samsung battery is manufacturer-rated for up to 43 miles (69 km) of assisted range. An optional 48V 30Ah / 1440Wh dual-battery setup extends manufacturer-rated range to up to 86 miles (138 km) under favourable conditions.

Who is the Rize MD for?

The MD suits riders dealing with steeper routes, frequent elevation changes or heavier commuter use where mid-drive torque matters more than a simple hub-motor layout. Actual range depends heavily on assist level, gearing, rider load, terrain and temperature.
