Thunder City RX Long-Range Urban Commuter E-Bike

The Thunder City RX electric bike is the upgraded road-focused model in Thunder’s city range. It combines a Bafang G02 500W rear hub motor with an 840Wh Samsung battery, hydraulic disc brakes and an upright step-over commuter frame.

Large Battery for Longer Paved Rides

The 48V 17.5Ah battery is listed for up to 120 km under favourable pedal-assist conditions. That figure is a manufacturer maximum rather than a guaranteed commute distance; speed, hills, starts, rider load, weather, throttle use and tire pressure all affect real-world range.

Hydraulic Braking and Familiar Gearing

Tektro hydraulic disc brakes are the City RX’s key control upgrade over the standard City. The MOZO suspension fork, 26-inch Kenda tires and Shimano Tourney 7-speed drivetrain keep the ride comfortable and familiar on city streets and shared paths.
