The Thunder Folding Step-Over F500 combines a folding frame with 20 × 4-inch fat tires, making it a practical option for riders who need compact storage without giving up stable, mixed-surface handling. Its 500W Bafang G060 rear hub motor is rated for up to 80 N·m of torque.

Two Battery Options

Choose a 48V 15Ah or 48V 20Ah Samsung lithium-ion battery. Thunder lists up to 90 km for the 15Ah configuration and up to 125 km for the 20Ah version under favourable conditions. Range will vary with assist level, rider weight, hills, cold weather, wind, tire pressure, and frequent starts.

Folding Step-Over vs. Leisure F500

The Folding Step-Over is the better fit when storage footprint or vehicle transport matters. It also offers more torque and an optional higher-capacity battery than the Leisure F500. The Leisure model is aimed at riders who prefer hydraulic brakes and do not need a folding frame.

Fat-Tire Control in a Smaller Format

Kenda 20 × 4-inch tires and an adjustable MOZO suspension fork help manage cracked pavement, gravel, and everyday road seams. Tektro mechanical disc brakes use 180 mm rotors, and Shimano Tourney 7-speed gearing keeps pedalling familiar across changing terrain.
